some of us have to make do with Alluminium commuter bikes Trek 1.7 myself,Although it is a bit of a workhorse I love it

trek 1.7 is a pritty gd commuter bike tbh

and my tt bike is alluminuim

I bought the 1.7 as the 2008 model,and to be honest it was my sportive bike and everything bike as well,until i decided that it was time to send it to the place that little bikes go when they have freewheeled for the last time well not really its just been demoted to the commuter/training bike for when the new one arrives.
