hope you mean proper after eights, dark chocolate, none of your milk.
<outraged indignation> Would you expect anything less sir?!
Mind you, now they're not made down the road anymore, it's just not the same. And KitKats have gone downhill since Rowntrees moved production. Half the time the wafer and chocolate aren't aligned properly, and when you break it, lots of little bits fly off.
stephec - when my Mum and Dad first went to the pictures together, my Dad bought her a Toblerone, but he kept it in his overcoat pocket during the film and when they got it out to share it it was a bit limp...
Apparently he got her to go out with him in the first place by buying her a quarter pound of chocolate drops every lunch time until she caved in...[/QUOTE]
What did she cave in to after eating all those?
And did his Toblereone ever stiffen up again?
AFAIK Kit Kats are still made at Nestle in York though. I'm a service engineer for food factory metal detectors so I've visited the Nestle plant many times. The smell of chocolate never gets boring no matter how many times you smell it, especially if you've had to do a full day in a raw meat proccessing plant the day before.
Hang on, shouldn't that last bit be in another thread somewhere?
