These predictions come thick and fast over Christmas. They are wearing my ancient brain out. High on left-over Christmas gin, here's a wild and dangerous attempt at the new year lot:

Just imagine how random they must be feeling and predict accordingly. It's what I've done all season.

Now, there's a few stragglers. One of these days I'll forget to remind them and I'll have a chance to make ground up. If I remember to predict, that is.

I have just stuck a few quid on a couple of the games, based on picking random scores from here which had decent odds:
so look out for Villa winning 3-2 (@deptfordmarmoset) and Liverpool winning 3-0 (a few of us - 3-1 was tempting but the 3-0 odds were much better)

It could have been worse; you might have had 9/10 winning bets on an accumulator and the final game ended 2-0 to the home team (who are bottom of the league!) when you'd gone for an away win...bugger. Oh well.

It's result o'clock. The Halifax v Gateshead game was cancelled. I'm going to restrict my commentary to saying that, as I slide down the order, I've ended up with an olive green line in the PL chart. I saw a lovely new Genesis Equilibrium outside Sainsburys in New Cross with the same kind of green. As I was on my green bike, we had a brief conversation about the gloriousness of green...
