If I offer any advice about Ayrshire's finest this week, please ignore me. I hope we've learned that a football match lasts longer than 20 minutes and that former players have a nasty habit of coming back to haunt us. I believe Ross County have 7 former Killie players on the books...

Liverpool v Chelsea 1-2
Burnley v Hull 0-2
Man Utd v Crystal Palace 1-1
Sunderland v Everton 0-0
Tottenham v Stoke 1-0
West Brom v Newcastle 0-3
Swansea v Arsenal 2-2

Cowdenbeath (S Champ) v Hibernian 0-2
Gateshead (Conf) v Lincoln City 2-1
Kilmarnock (S Prem) v Ross County 3-0
Alfreton v Bristol City 0-2
Glentoran (I Prem) v Glenavon 0-1
@AndyRM – I feel your pain – I had Killie down for a confident 3-0 home win, like yourself. And Norwich to beat Forest. And stupidly Arsenal to beat Swansea. It's part of a shocking weekend of predictions for me. I also follow Livi who fared no better against Alloa, and are running headlong toward the relegation trapdoor. I'm going into the study with some whisky and the revolver to do the decent thing. I may be some time.

Hang on a minute - what happened to the nailed-on draw we both predicted for Glentoran v Glenavon? That fixture is always a draw, according to my (somewhat sketchy) sources. Apart from last weekend. And most of the others.

Not sure if you were after me or Marmion but my pain is great after that toothless display against the sh!test side in the SPL. We were very unlucky with the first two goals, but to offer nothing going forward and end up with half the team booked is unacceptable. The only solace to be taken from the game is that our captain didn't pick up his customary yellow card.

There's only one thing worse than a defeat and that's a toothless one, where ex-players come back to haunt you. We had a few of those early on this season. I don't know if @Marmion is a Killie fan (I hope he's not Ross County for your sake!) but if he is, I feel his pain too!

After last nights embarrassing debacle I suggest forecast with your heart and you will continue racking up points
I might have to – you'd think if I do them the honour of predicting a win, the least they could do is actually see it through. I've had a shocker this week so far.

Hibs I believe, poor bastard, though they managed a win against Cowdenbeath.

Still a couple of games to be played tonight so the results will be up soon. But as it's internationals time, there will only be a few league games this weekend. There are some interesting internationals, though. So, to make things a little more interesting - and purely for fun and only if you want to - each playing pickster can nominate 2 international teams and I'll set up a table on my trusty spreadsheet. The scores will be separate from the long haul games so if you don't want to take part, it won't affect your overall score.

So, bearing in mind that the games start on Friday evening, get your teams nominated by the end of tomorrow and I'll post up the full list on Thursday morning.
