Just go to a decent secondhand bookshop and stock up on Penguins and the like. There are millions in circulation.

I'm sure there used to be lots available, but can't seem to find any contemporary miniature editions. Does anybody know of any?
I'm always amazed by people talking about 30 minute dumps - I'm typically in and out in less than 2 minutes. However, I think if you've been following Nick's posts over the past couple of years, you'll realise that his extended bog trips are probably more a sign of how he feels about his job and coworkers than the state of his bowels...Mr Pig said:How long do you spend in there? eg. Walden, Pride and Prejudice etc.

Should really be:
"I want something I can sneak into the bog without my boss seing. Any old crap will do."
Classic literature? I mean do you really expect us to believe you are goingto sit on the toilet at work reading Shakespear? ;0) Why not get a Nintendo DS lite? Smaller than any paperback and no end of games I'm sure you would like. What about this one?
The trombone is reckoned to be a lot easier, and only appears in the sort of music I likeUncle Mort said:Nick, if that doesn't work for you, why not try learning the French horn?

NickM said:This Nintendo thingy - it's not really me, you know? However... if it can be persuaded to accomodate books other than the 100 on its cartridge (80 of which I am guaranteed not to fancy) it might work. The disadvantage, of course, is that it would only be useful for bog reading - I couldn't possibly be seen in public with it, after all...
