Spiders are a biggy but generally the more serious type; Heights are another, even the thought of' can be a NO-NO for some sad reason

Though, at times I wonder about my mortality in life occasionally, now: if a car was to hit me & even walking down the road.

I have been thinking, recently - about how people see me and how I see them as just a person and they just see me as just another person...so in effect = I'm worthless to them just like they are to me (respect) -help.i'mgoingcrazy ;)

Clowns. Hate them. Never been to a circus and if attending a childrens party have to leave the room if one of them turns up. They freak me out.

Having things like needles stuck in me - I can just about cope with injections, but having blood taken is awful and when I was in hospital in March, I had a stent in my arm and I had several periods of real panic.

Wet sand under my fingernails. Just thinking about it makes me go 'goosey'. My kids were always disappointed that Dad couldn't help them build a sandcastle. Mum could though.

My daughter has an irrational fear of ducks, will do anything to avoid them. She puts it down to their “evil grin and beady eyes”. Pure malevolence she says.

Dwarves.

I cant watch them on TV i have to switch over .....its difficult cos they seem to be so fashionable at the moment. They are on everything from adverts to austin powers to phoenix nights.
If i see one in real life i just freeze and my whole body tenses much to the amusement of my friends.

Interesting. I've been a blood donor for many years and always look away when they stick the needle in. Never had any probs but if I did look at my arm as the needle went in, I think I'd mildy panic!

Whoever put up the one about potholing, or going down caves etc... yes, I'm like that... quite happy going down a cave (not that I do it every day, you understand!) but if, say, I was stuck in horizontal position, unable to move my arms, with rising water, I would die a madman!

The very first injection I had to self-administer in my stomach I know I must
have been nervous because my palm was a pool of sweat.
Which made my hand slip and slide down the needle so aggressively that I bent the needle into a "C" shape in my stomach.

I had to unscrew the holder get some snips and cut the needle cap off and then push the needle out through a new hole where I could grab it with the pliers.

Not the best start.
