When I lived in Virginia, everyone (pretty much) has personalised plates - as they only cost $10 - the cheapest place in the States apparently.....

I really will have to dig out a pic at some point..... stick it in the avatar, now I finally figured out how that works!!

The plates I find most amusing in a "that's a tad sad" kind of way, are the ones with the engine size, or car model in them... like "V6 GTI" & the like...

Actually, I've just realised that the Porsche my dad gave me the other week (it's not as good as it sounds, it's already broken after a week and is in the garage costing me money) has the numberplate SXI 4122. Which makes me feel like driving it with a bag over my head. I must get it changed. :?:

On the plus side, Paul Daniels has the plate MAG 1 C, which makes him easier to find when you have a baseball bat.

My dads plate is M3RKT. He is currently trying to sell it and a quote online said it could go for around £8k. Dont think he will get that but a few grand maybe.
