Personal Liability Insurance

How many people on this forum have taken out Personal Liability Insurance whilst riding their bikes. I hear more and more people are taking this out. Will cover against personal injury accidents against another. I remember last year some road rider getting his/her arse sued for hitting a pedestrian whilst crossing a pedx!

Most people here have it (although not just for biking). It's dirt cheap and if your dog/escaped pet cobra/child playing footballn/bicycle causes a huge amount of damage or tops someone it's well worth having. It usually includes juridical assistance too.

PS, could you please change the colour of your font?

Don't you like green??

True. I sat through "The Incredible Hulk" yesterday and he certainly had a rough ride. He couldn't even have sex with the fit fairy maiden from Lord Of The Rings.

Poor Hulk... Cue the 'Lonely Man' theme tune.

You mean third party liability insurance, where if you are responsible for an injury to another whilst out cycling, it pays out? If so, British Cycling and CTC are your friends. Membership of either will give you up to £10million third party liability insurance AND legal assistance when you need it.

a lot of home insurance policies offer personal liability insurance, so check you don't already have it before taking out any more.
Yep. I have a few million pounds worth on my Marks & Spencer Home insurance, and of course - upto £4,000 or so per bicycle (which is why I chose M & S in the first place).
