Fast and careful!
I have 2 giant bikes and have replaced the tyres nearly straight away, some on here are going to say I've had mine for years with no punctures, well I have had two in a ride and 5 in three days , I put on gaitor skins and the puncture fairy went away, not flash but a good rolling tyre especially the folders on my advanced frame

The stock tyres on giant bikes generally seem to be made of cheese, I got 400km out of a pair before they became puncture magnets.

Really interesting feedback.I reckon that I have done somewhere near distance and the most recent puncture was incurred cycling down a freshly chipped lane. I got about quarter of a mile before the tyre gave up. The tube upon later inspection had a 8 inch section that had so many holes in it that it looked like it had been blasted with a shotgun,on the face which touches the tyre. Totally beyond repair.

The bike frame wasw also splattered in horrid blobs of tarmack which took ages to clean off.

Still awaiting domestic opportunity to get out there and try new rubber out.

i had those tyres as well and replaced after about 100 mile just because lack of trust in them after 1 puncture - does sound like something only just going through the tyre - ie flint glass or thorn - you wont find that unless turn it inside out and bend as checking - or a long shot that there is a small item in the tyre loose rolling around just rubbing a hole where it gets stuck
