I don't buy any of it... I'd much rather smell like a human than something cooked up in a lab by a boffin, for the profoundly gullible :okay:
Good.

After much dabbing and sniffing my wife, who cares about such things, chose Floris Santal for me.

"WOODY FOUGÈRE
SANTAL
EAU DE TOILETTE

STAR NOTES:
Black Pepper
Lavender
Sandalwood

Rejoicing in its distinctive make-up as a true signature scent, Santal is a fragrance to excite the senses.

An woody fougère with its origins in the timeless sandalwoods of a bygone era, Santal is a contemporary architype of our men’s signature collection. Warm spices of black pepper, nutmeg and clove are woven with a sensual aromatic heart of lavender. The perfumes success lies in the complex woody oriental base blended perfectly with dry woods of sandalwood, cedarwood, patchouli and vetiver which are complimented with frankincense, musk and vanilla.

Perfect for after-dark soirees, distinctive entrances and for crisp mornings. A fragrance that celebrates the confident, stylish and bold modern man."

Heck, it's over four years since this thread last had a post, so it's about time it had another one! :okay: I received a bottle of Creed Green Irish Tweed for my birthday last Friday. A few friends clubbed together to buy it for me, after one of them asked which was my favourite men's fragrance. When I say it's my favourite it wasn't as I'd never sniffed it before, but I've always wondered what all the fuss was about after hearing about it from various online videos over the last few years. Anyway, I now have a bottle of the stuff in Eau De Parfum, which is the most potent one available. My thoughts are it has a similarity to the much cheaper Cool Water by Davidoff and a hint of Fahrenheit by Dior. Do I like it I hear you ask :okay: Er, yes, but I'm glad it was bought for me at £218 and I didn't buy it myself, as although it's very nice it doesn't make me think "Wow, how good is this"! Having said that I've heard it has a decent longevity after it's applied, so one decent spray should last about 8 hours, which is pretty decent!

I love the bit on 1 minute 30 seconds where the narrator says King George the third commissioned Creed to make a perfume to mask the smells of the day, which er, must've been totally xx(xx(xx(! He actually had scented gloves made to cover his nose to avoid such stenches!🧐 I must admit, sometimes when I walk around Accrington town centre I have been known to apply a quick fine fragrance squirt to the pocket square I'm wearing to cover my nose, just like King George the third did all those years ago!!🧐
