Penny Farthing wheel

Has any one had any experience with building Penney farthing wheels? I am about to aquire a junior Penny (36 inch wheel)from the 1860's but apparently the large wheel has had the spokes removed,the spokes or most of them will be coming with the rest of the bike so any suggestions will be welcome,Thanks

Have a word with Doug Pinkerton, he owns, repairs and races Ordinary, or High Wheel bikes and there ain't a fat lot he doesn't know about them.
