by that logic so are cyclist downs, Pale Riders thread on the Croydon fatality has another linked also. Lets not politicise a sad event or we are no better than the Clarkson types who belittle the damage cars do to others.

Thing like this may be comparatively rare, it doesn't make them any less worthy nor less of a terrible experience for those involved.

Interesting use of language in the report; the pedestrian was "hit by the cyclist", later on a cyclist was "in collision" with a car...
