What pedals would you recommend for riding to work. NO clips, must be flat, as i only ride for a few miles to get the station and i don't need clips.

Any good prices out there too?

Everybody needs clips!

I recently purchased a pair of MKS 'Stream' peddles, low profile, good straight axles (I'm amazed at how many peddols these days have a knee busting wobble from new) and proper old fashioned rebuildable.

Thoroughly recommended. I got mine from the excellent CycleSense in Tadcaster.

Ok. Toe straps = death trap. Well done. Now read the OP.

I've edited this thread to remove the pointless references / arguments to clipless pedals / shoes.

The OP clearly says NONE CLIPLESS so can we keep it on-topic and recommend none clipless pedals please ... thanks.

What about those half toe clips, Zefal do 'em. They'd go nicely with a pair of flat pedals. I'd favour something like these, which are flat touring pedals because cage pedals are bad for your shins and most flat pedals these days all have pins sticking out for grip, also bad for your shins

Bonj calm down (if you are not already) and like other people have said read the OP.

Peace at last...

You should see Bonj when we gets really excited - this is him being calm

The cheap pedals in Tescos (yes, I know...) are actually quite reasonable. They're metal MTB kind of things. Got some on my hack.
I think Tesco are clearing out the bike stuff at reduced prices too.
