OT @snorri (because you're on line ^_^) what is the script with the Forth bridge? Are cyclists allowed? There is a big sign saying no pedestrians and no bikes, but I'm sure somebody on here posted riding over it.
You can see I've yet to cross this bridge :laugh:

Yes, cyclists are allowed, it's fun, you will enjoy crossing the bridge, you can stop and take photos in the middle, they don't allow car drivers to do that!
I had not heard of any closures but all will be well on the 19th^_^, hoping to be there myself.

Cheers for that Snorri: I was sure there was a big sign there barring cyclists, just before entering the N1 into Edinburgh. Will take a picture of the sign on the 19th!

I cycle the forth bridge a lot...think they have both sides of it open now, think they opended the other side so people can see the new bridge being built....

Perhaps the sign you mention is the one barring cyclists from the A90 dual carriageway on the south side of the bridge. There are alternatives, the locals will keep you right.:thumbsup:

The Glasgow Belles on Bikes are also pedaling on parliament on the 19th. :thumbsup:
I think one might ride with your 9 o'clock start, she will ride back too :eek:
