Pedal bearing gone. Wear and tear or warranty ?

Just took them back to the store. They serviced them then and there with a promise that they would replace if I have to bring them back a second time.
I must admit they do feel much better.

The cones can sometimes come loose. Shimano pedals are quick and easy to service and adjust.
