A legend, a fine actor, and by all accounts, a really decent person.

I was never really able to look hard-boiled eggs in the face again after seeing that scene in Cool Hand Luke!

Great guy, he'll be sadly missed. Cool Hand Luke is a fave of mine too.

Cool Hand Luke is one of my all time favourite movies. As a young boy the car washing scene .eeeemm... stayed in my mind... for a very long time
