Chain guard fitted, not sure if it will stay on depending on how much of a pain it becomes if I have a puncture

I purchased a Dutch Gazelle about a year ago. 28” wheels, linked rod operated drum brakes, fully enclosed chain, 3 speed hub... a bit over 56 pounds on the shop scale ( damn near broke it )

The ride of these big lumps is fantastic. It sets the pace, you are just along for the ride to enjoy the scenery. I’d never be without one now.

Your bike looks fantastic, like you say, they roll really well over the lumps and bumps plus you seem to slow down and enjoy the ride more
