Park tools, worth the extra cost?

I went off Park when I bent a Mini Chain Brute beyond repair.

I started on park tools but they just broke and have since swapped to draper and Stanley equivalents and cheap generic for bike specific bits, still going strong 10+ years of use and I have 12 bikes always in need of something on my fettle Sunday’s

None of that necessarily makes them good value. I have a few bits of park tools stuff and the quality it's great. Some stuff is however over priced and poor value.

I have some Campagnolo headset, crank, pedal and BB lockring spanners as well as their cone spanners. Lovely tools. My neighbour asked for a pedal spanner at the start of lock down. I said 'if this doesn't move it, nothing will', handing him a Campag pedal spanner. The spanner was probably more than his crankset.

The best advice is simply buy quality tools.
