In France I was going out in the upper 20s (at 400m above sea level, too) much prefer hot to cold.
Never mind, I have my winter gear ready..

They aren't huge mountains, but you will still be quite exposed up there. If there is a cold wind blowing or you get caught out in heavy rain it could be pretty unpleasant if you weren't prepared for those conditions.
