Would have liked to have seen what happened had Pedersen not punctured, that was a real shame as he seemed to be onto a good day. Decent shift by Van Aert to salvage 4th as well, I do suspect there's an underlying issue there that we'll hear about shortly, however. It was always going to be a tough ask for Pogacar to usurp MVDP without a substantial hill and I reckon that him overcooking that corner was as a result of him pushing it one too many times out of, not desperation, but something akin to urgency maybe? Will be interesting to see if he comes back next year. I'd imagine he will.

Pog needs a bike fit - far too cramped imho!

Yeah, I doubt a professional bike team with the world’s greatest rider has bothered looking at that.

Chris Froom was another that never really looked right on a bike!

Andy Yates too looked like he needed saddle an inch higher!

There’s a bit of a difference between a rider looking awkward on a bike and them needing a bike fit. Teams are investing millions on getting things right these days, do you genuinely believe teams aren’t ensuring their bikes are completely optimised?

He’s known for adjusting his fit depending on the race and parcours. He won’t have the same position for a race like PR as a mountain stage. I thought this was widely known.

What a race.... Chapeau VDP worthy winner again !
Pog was class...debut Roubaix aswell, and to think people doubted him.Shame how it unfolded would have loved to see them go head to head to the velodrome, but that's a what if.Noticed he'd lost his bike computer after the spill aswell.Great racing by all anyway, sure he'll be back now he knows the course 🤣

Hope the w@nker who threw the bidon got a kicking !

Perhaps the idiots hiding behind their keyboards, or on YT, will wind it in re 'is Pog on something?'

The guy is massively gifted but it would be inhuman to win every race he entered.

Let's see how he goes next year, now he has ridden the course in anger rather than just reccyng it.
