You do get the sense that Kopecky hasn't forgotten the times that Vos has managed to one up her in the recent past.

Kopecky looked a bit brassed off in the interview.

I missed it unfortunately, I'll have to catch up with it later. I imagine she's probably irked by having had to do all the pulling in that chasing group, she didn't look well pleased and was doing a bit of gesticulating. Unfortunately, that's the way the cards have been dealt, as is so often the way in this race. They just have to accept that they've been worked over and move onto the next plan because it's only going to happen more often as the season goes on.

29 World championships and 3 Olympic golds across road, mtb, cross track and gravel between them.
It's 15-14 in world champs - but can you guess to who?

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
And yet again, WBD's Quest "apologise for the change to the advertised schedule" as they show people moving rocks instead of the cycling highlights they claimed they were going to show!

The espoirs will probably shift any remaining puddles as their cars drive through, though could spread some mud about.

Meanwhile, wind seems to be about 20km/h from SW so potential for cross-tail especially in the early stages.... Anyone got a klaxon to hand?

Here's the parcours and pavé rating chart

And the new approach to Touée d'Arenberg

They basically had to redo the road there completely for this, it was barely a path and was blocked at both ends
