Thor did have a puncture and the field passed him before he got a change, then a fall. Cancellara and the others didn't work together enough, then started the chase... pretty close at the end, good to watch though. You could see the error.

Well done Van Summeren, didn't think he'd stay away and Cancellera got it wrong again.

If Cancellara had chased Summeren down earlier, Thor would have sat on his wheel then taken the win, and he was having a hard time throwing Thor off....... he was just outplayed by a team that had more high cards

Good to see Garmin using their depth as a classics team at last - a very exciting race - I can't remember a classics season I've enjoyed as much as this one, so far.

I think one of the most exciting 1-day race I have ever seen ..

.. maybe excluding the women's road race at the last Olympics, when we won Gold
