He's touching in scuffs, not repainting the entire frame.

Which is why he will always see it, a touch up is always visible. I was just trying to level his expectations, people often assume a blob of paint will make a mark disappear. After many years of professionally using paints I know it does not.

If you know what you are doing, a tin of humbrol and a modelling brush is all you need. A concours judge might notice, but nobody else will give a stuff.
