For two weeks in a reasonable hotel in Orlando, plus return fares from Glasgow via Gatwick, it could hardly have been any cheaper! Unbelievable VFM, and I see they have the same offer on this coming January - just when my work dies a death. I am sorely tempted.

Timing is everything for cheap prices. Try getting the same price during school holidays.
My best value trip ever was a Dublin day return from Leeds back in 1983. It cost £20, was way cheaper than a London return, took three days and included a litre of spirits issued on the return leg. The journey had to be taken during the low traffic season of January - March.
Last time I checked, the bike cost more than the passenger , it was about £70 for EACH LEG of the journey!
Anyway .... bike bags are fine if you are starting and finishing at the same airport; AND have somewhere to store the bag while touring.
My mistake; getting my EasyAir and RyanJet mixed up!
Take a bike on RyanAir and it will cost you £60 each way pre booked, or £70 at the airport. IIRC those charges apply for each leg, so if you have to route from Glasgow to say Sardinia and it involves a connection at Stanstead, then double the charge. It doesn't make that clear on their website without going into the booking system, and at the moment I CBA'd as it's not the quickest!
