I don't. The OP might.

I was merely pointing out:
1) a smaller chainring might achieve his aims for the fraction of the cost of new back end / wheel on his bike. :laugh:
2) I'm not sure your chart covers the standard current brompton offerings now they no longer offer a choice of chainring as a free cost option as they use to back in the day. It may be the gear inches are correct but the labels wrong, I dont know.

As to point one, all that advice was, I think, already discussed in the previous thread.
To point two - my chart was to help me understand how they all compare to each other on an even playing field.

Anyone considering a 4-speed to 12-speed conversion certainly wouldn't be against changing their chainring. The point of it was to compare how the gear ranges compare to each other given the same set up. i.e. that for the same size chainring a 3-speed gives both a lower and a higher gear, but clearly has much bigger steps compared to a 4-speed.

Given the OP wanted more (wider spread?) gears and closer ratios, then the chart is useful for that comparison.
