I've got some BBB Heavy duty & some Supposedly waterproof Shimano (got for xmas)
Tried the Shimano once and threw as they are not even remotely waterproof, feet were soaked in minutes.
The BBB's HD's are a different kettle of fish, i've used down to -5 and feet were acceptably warm, they also keep your feet totally dry on rides less that 15-20 miles in the rain, anything over the water does come through but feet still keep nice and warm.
They are very robust I have walked for over a mile when the frame broke on the bike I was borrowing and they are still in one piece. Definitely recommend them
