OT - Plumbing problem

I needed to call out "My" plumber today, I rang him at lunchtime today, and he said he could be here early tomorrow morning
My previous record for calling out a plumber was about 30 seconds- but then he did live next door!

Do I reside in an area with a different species of Plumber to the rest of the country? I would like to know what makes Worcestershire so different in this respect.

It is only a minor leak, but I am concerned about causing more problems if I even think about approaching a radiator with a spandex spanner in my hand.

Bloke next door to us is a hyperactive handyman. I only have to mention that something needs doing and he's round doing it. He plastered our bathroom for nothing.

Needless to say, I keep on very good terms with him.
