Quality gear is worth fixing. It eventually exceeds your ability/willingness to repair it. I once spent two hours fixing a pair of aerobars with a busted bolt. I could have bought replacements, but I hate to junk something that works well just because 1% of it has failed. And if someone makes snarky comments about the condition of my gear I humbly remind them I cycle 12,000 miles a year and would you please shut the **** up.
