Congratulations.Nice looking bike Chewy. My roadbike is white but with not very practical white bartape and saddle. Think the next bartape will be black, looks better and more practical.

Nice !!
Banjo does white show the muck ? i am alittle concerned about it being hard to get clean around the chain stays especially as i am looking at getting this when C2W comes around ...

or i might go for the road if they hammer us for the full 25% at the end...

Sorry for delay in updating this....been one of those weeks I'm afraid!

First of all i had a call from LBS on the Tuesday to let me know that the bike was going to be in on Wednesday, massive disappointment as i had built my week around picking it up later that day...but ho-hum! decided to pick up on Thursday as Wednesday is my badminton day!

Fast forward to Thursday and spent a few hours at work just waiting for another call saying there would be another delay, this never came thankfully...but I couldn't stand the possible uncertainty and rang them to confirm it was in AND IT WAS!!!!!

So have collected it and set it up, lights and all! managed to get 12 miles on the clock just as a "must ride it" ride

Hopeing for better weather tomorrow for some decent miles to play with, but already am in love with the thing! SOOOOO much easier/quicker, and loving the spd's too (only clipless moment has been in living room where I fell into the sofa!).

So thanks again to all who advised me on here (and the real world

) and to BIKE IT in Barnstaple, mainly Mike, who sorted everything out for me and set up the bike. Only trouble is I think my Carerra is a bit annoyed at the presence of a better bike in th garage! Half expected it to throw its chain off on the way to work as a mark of disgust!!! And the car is bloody evil with me.........

That's funny - I felt the same from my Carerra when I bought a roadbike last October. Maybe bikes are a bit like children - the first one can get a bit jealous when a second comes along. You just need to treat them equally and play with them both regularly and they will get along fine together.
