I know I asked this question before but just in case anything new is on the market or opinions have changed I am looking for a touring (easy[er] to walk in) SPD shoe to go with my pedals. In fact I am looking for a pair of shoes

PS Anyone know any good bone setting specialist in South Wales ;)

I've got Adidas Minrett shoes to go with my m520's. Excellent comfy shoe, good for walking in and very good for cycling in.

I've since cut up some SOLAS reflective tape and customised them ;). Do you want to see a picture?

For anyone else wanting the pedals, I got a good deal from Merlin Cycles.

Yeah I like the 520's, got them in my mtn bike but A520's on my roadie. Post that pic Longers, I'm still in the market for a new pair of shoes.

Another interesting shoe. I get the impression that most SPD compatible shoes will be ok with this pedal?.

Should be. I have Shimano MT41 shoes, and am happy with those, although if I were choosing again, I'd go for velcro fastening rather than laces + velcro.

If you're a size 9, my Lidl SPD shoes are up in the for sale section for not much money, although they won't win you admiring glances at the cake stop ;)

Once you do get your shoes, this thread is my account of learning to clip and unclip, and has a lot of useful contributions from other forum members too.

Cheers for that but I'm a size 12. The thread looks extremely useful. Think I will print it out and keep it for reference.

Interesting thread. I didn't have any problems with clipless allignment of anything like that. Wish I'd got 520s so i think you did well there.
