For too long now I have been saving a particular set of mails in a folder in my Orange/fsmail email account. Its reached the point now where they need moving as I am using 90% of the accounts space. Now I could open each mail, open the attachment, save it some where else and so on but with about 150 to do thats some job. I doubt it but is there some way in which I can select all and move them to my PC.?

I have just saved 1 attachment. I have to open the email, open the attachment, confirm to W7 that I want to, Save as, Open C drive, open the user, open My docs and theopen the folder I need them in. Managed 2 in the time between these posts.

See why I need another way?

Set up pop3 on your pc using what ever client you have. Select all the emails in your folder you are concerned with and move them into the inbox they will be fetched down onto the pc using pop3

Cheers so far but I still haven't got a clue what you are on about. Client??

Where would I set POP3?

Was hoping I would be able to "select all" and move in some way.
Why isn't life easy.

I assume the problem here is your orange web mail is about to go over quota so you want to save the emails onto your pc.
The best way would be to use what ever email client you all ready have on your version of windows which may be outlook if you have office, out look express or windows mail.
You would then open that program and set up a pop3 account which would download the emails from your oranges web mail onto your pc.
For that too work you would need to make sure any email you want saving are in your inbox and not a sub folder

Slowly understanding . So a client is the program that enables me to send emails eg outlook? Sneaking suspicion that stuff like that was ripped out as not needed. Lets hope not. Othe r issue is that I can't get them all into my in box. Too many. Ah well thanks a lot.
