Opinions on Vittoria Zaffiro tyres

Use them on both my Hybrid and Fixie and they are fantastic even on trails ! Had one puncture but that was because the hybrid was fully loaded and pinched the tube on the rim whilst riding on rough stuff You can only try them for yourself but for the cost,they are great

must admit have used zaffiro's and quite like them but the Rubino's are a lot better imho

Well, I bought 3 Zaffiros and all 3 of them split at the wire bead.

I suspect these cannot cope with running flat for even 10 metres.
This has never happened before.

Spookily enough, I had the same problem with a Zaffiro. It punctured, got repaired, bulged out, and exploded with a very large bang shortly thereafter, fortunately at very low speed on the front wheel.

+1 for rubinos. I'm fancying a change to some higher branded tyres such a gatorskins or duranos if I can find a deal on them and get them in a 25. Just to give them a go more than anything since I'm changing size anyway
