According to a YouTube blog last night, the latest 'thing' on the MTB circuit is a 36" rim.
Bearing in mind the laws of physics; slower to get going to overcome the initial extra mass, flying when you are moving and very good brakes needed to overcome that extra mass when slowing or stopping suddenly, seems an interesting idea.
