OK everyone, I feel a lot better now the prologue has finished and no major style issues to report so you can all relax.
I was considering which channel in the main to watch the tour on this year. Do I lean towards Eurosport and tolerate cycling legend Sean Kelly, the only man who nods when asked a question on radio.
Or ITV with the more slick presentation, I like Gary, Ned & Chris is OK but can't stand Phil, the LA apologist, Liggett.
Anyway the thing that swung it for me was the number of commercial breaks on ITV that went on and on and on, also I really got fed up with the halfords ad, what was that all about?
So, Eurosport it is.
I'm going for a lie down now.

ITV, Gary and Ned are fine, Chris has managed to make a boring voice even more so, Phil is not bad but nowhere near as good as he was a few years back, and not much of a laugh on there. Compare Eurosport, Studio discussions (serious, if that's possible with Rob Hayles!), and a chatty style all through those long steady periods. DH has a relaxed style, with excited bit when it actually is exciting, and good knowledge. SK hasmassive knowledge, personal experience and technical/tactical insight, plus a really, really dry sense of humour. ES every time.

Seriously though, I have just started watching Eurosport, and I know this will be a stupid question, but who is the Irish guy? You see, I seem to be having trouble making him out currently. Maybe that will change in a couple of weeks time, but at the moment, I have still to get used to his accent.
