Rover 90, I think. Did they make especially big tyres for these models?

Just higher profile 75 most likely for a super comfy ride. My mate had one lovely car. Top choice for a usable classic imho.

I've always like the P4 Rovers. An old pal had one. He'd was known to swap engines quite regularly. He decide petrol was too expensive so stick in a diesel engine (presumably the Landy engine) then he'd get fed up with 60HP and put the Rover 6 cylinder petrol back in. He decided he really wanted an estate car so made a new back from sheet aluminium and added a Landrover tailgate. The body was aluminium anyway so it was quite easy (for someone with his skill) to modify. Oh and painted it matt khaki.

As has been said before - one of the most stylish cars ever built (no, not the Ford)

Some sort of Bentley coachbuilt special

Is that what it is? I took it as a prototype radial engine or conjoined multiple engines or some such. Darned if I can find the car to reference it though. Any info?
Sorry but I have no further information - there was no race number and there was only one race it could have been entered for and nothing on the entry list, so must have been taken to the meeting to be shown off. Nothing shows up on a reverse image search either. All I can think is that it was one of the aero engined specials that racers built back in the day, or a modern receration of something similar.

I think they are early turbochargers as the exhausts feed out if them and they are linked to what look like carbs.... I could be totally wrong!!

But early factory Bentleys had superchargers not turbos iirc.

Factory Bentleys never had superchargers

He got upset about the blower on the 4½ litre engine.

His opinion was that a supercharger would overstress the engine, if you wanted more power fit a bigger engine like the 7 litre.
