Nice photos

Can I have the Citroen SM, the Morris 1000 pick-up, or the Escort 2 (on the trailer)

SWMBO would have the Austin 'Frogeye' Sprite (we've been together since 1986, & she wanted one back then!!)

Suzuki Supercarry; I once owned the (badge engineered) Bedford Rascal
I was racing MTBs at the time (circa 1990 - 1995) & could fit several bikes inside, & made a good changing room
They're scary things to drive on the m-way
Wet roundabouts were treated with more than respect, I had mine swapping ends several times

I want this 😍 I fell in love with these the first time I saw one ~40 years ago.

It's only just down the road from here, too. Never mind that I probably won't fit in it.

I just had to buy this edition, in the (Hospital) WH Smiths

The McLaren F1 is still the ultimate road-car for me
Forget Veyrons & such palaver
That might be faster, but it's got another 400BHP or so, & it weighs almost 600kg more!!*

No turbochargers, No superchargers, very little fancy electronics
In 1992, it could manage
0-60MPH; 3.2 seconds
0-100MPH; 6.3 seconds
Max speed; 240MPH

* The F1's spiritual succesor, the T50, is even lighter than the F1 (at about 980kg). & has an amazing engine (4litre V12) that revs to almost 12,000RPM

Not South Africa, Argentina

I'd quite like one of those, and back in the
day I seriously considered a (brand new) Peugeot 504 pick-up which is close to the same
grade of car bit configured as a pick-up. In the end I bought a car-derived panel van as it was a good bit cheaper, and realistically I 'd have needed to pay for a body for the pick up bit as well. The 504 was a cracking vehicle though, even if the diesel Maestro van was more sensible. I wasn't a builder or farmer, just wanted a caving waggon, so an open pick-up body wasn't really a good choice in any case. Despite BL's poor rep back in the early 80s the diesel Maestro van was genuinely superb
