A Sunday mornings work, pump up the tyres and a quick buff with T-Cut .Another classic, and possibly old enough not to need an MOT (should I insert a smiley here?).

Rather nice DS Citroen parked up in Oxford. Whilst it was it tidy condition it did seem a car that got used, which is nice. They still look like something Dan Dare might drive don't they.

I'd quite like one of those, and back in the
day I seriously considered a (brand new) Peugeot 504 pick-up which is close to the same
grade of car bit configured as a pick-up. In the end I bought a car-derived panel van as it was a good bit cheaper, and realistically I 'd have needed to pay for a body for the pick up bit as well. The 504 was a cracking vehicle though, even if the diesel Maestro van was more sensible. I wasn't a builder or farmer, just wanted a caving waggon, so an open pick-up body wasn't really a good choice in any case. Despite BL's poor rep back in the early 80s the diesel Maestro van was genuinely superb
