I've had my camelbak freeze solid on a sub zero night ride before...and I've also had my mechs and brakes freeze too. And what is the solution for frozen bike parts? Yes. Pee on them. More easily said than done if you're a woman. Could have unfortunate stickage if you're not careful

I don't think its been cold enough for that here but it takes me back to when you still got milk at school and the bottles were often frozen or the milk was curdled in summer.

Aah, I used to be milk monitor in the days of the quarter pint, long before the days of 'Margaret Thatcher Milk snatcher'.
Those old aluminium crates used to feel bl**dy cold, and in the winter (it used to be really cold back in the 60's) the milk used to freeze and the little foil caps were forced off as the milk froze and expanded...Oh the memories.
