I have been suffering from general tiredness , aches and pains etc etc The wrong side of 40 , shift work and a hyperactive 4 year old along with trying to keep fit all take there toll.
It's times like that that I know I've got to get on the bike - I always feel better after. Though I haven't got shift work and a 4 y.o. to contend with, I'll admit.

Oh, and the right side of 40! I'm 47, and this bike lark has made me fitter than I ever was in my 20s or 30s. And I'm at an age where I'm not taking being fit for granted, as I did when I was younger.

Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed the holiday, and feel refreshed now.

There is a lesson here - Always take your bike on holiday

Which is why, along with the kitchen sink, my bike's going on the car for the drive down to the Vendee tomorrow. Always enjoy getting some early morning rides in before a day by the pool/beach.
