I will but then I live a mile away.
I will have a look to see when the latest day for entry is. I have the cycletta the week before and if I feel, at the end, that I could have gone further I will give the 100 some serious consideration.
I am still too fat and have had a couple of bad weeks, riding wise, and feeling every mile at the mo. But 4 weeks is a goodly time to get my fitness back, I haven't lost that much, its more in my head than in my legs.

1200 miles across Asia in 3 weeks
That's only 57 miles a day and all day to do it in.

My tip for cycling in hot countries and for what it's worth is don't drink alcohol at lunchtime.

I think the 18th was the cut off.... but not 100% sure. I'm quite sure you will be far faster, fitter and generally better than me. It would be hard not to be.

Well I'm not the most sylph-like creature on the planet - mind you, the current addiction to fudge at the rate of one bag every two days doesn't help matters :mrpig:
Frangipan and clotted cream last night. It would be wrong to chuck the rest away. Just plain wrong. Tomorrow is riding night, come rain come shine. A friend came over tonight, for tea. He's having a bad week and cheering my friend up was more important than 10 miles on the bike.

Well good luck, I have to say I wouldn't fancy it.

Since july I have managed to up my mileage a bit, but my limit over the past 2.5 months has been between 150 and 200 miles a week and I wouldn't want to do much more. but then again that is mixed in with working to I don't know what I could do it I wasn't working as well.

I haven't been out on the bike since the sportive on Sat and looking at the calendar over the last 3 weekends I have done 93 mile, 100 mile and 101 mile rides plus other rides during the week so I guess I must be just tired so I am not sure how I would manage doing 60 miles a day.

Should this unfortunate state of affairs arise again, please feel free to contact me..... I could be there in, oohh, about 12 seconds I reckon:tongue:. I would hate you to have to struggle with this sort of thing again.... and it would free up a bit more time for you...

Not sure how I'll manage it either tbh..... but it's a trip I would hate to miss. Adored Thailand and am prepared to cycle silly miles if necessary to re-visit!

Just had another squint at the route. The route goes this side of the A140, not the other side so much flatter. I am not sure what happens the other side of the A140 but its where Norfolk keeps its rolling hills that never seem to go away.
