Hi all well i got my new bike, i never went for the viking in the end.
Reason being it was a long crossbar, shame as i really fancied one.
As you may all know im on a tight budget, and enden up with an ammoco jobby. (14spd road bike)
My old bike was a 7 spd highbrid, also a budget bike. (lombardo)
After a bit of messing about setting this bike up i took it out yesterday (bit wobbly) but came back with aching legs and a sore lower back.
Today i highered the seat adjusted the handlebars a bit fitted and set the bike computer , and went on my 13 mile circuit.
Here comes the omg bit the thing flies :o)
The bike has 23x700 with a recommended 100psi, old bike was fitted with 28x700 swallabe.
I found myself a going faster and b with less effort, as a bonus no pins and needles in my fingers.
I smiled as i passed some fella on his mountain bike, it was like he was going backwards :o)
Im a very happy chappy, i did the whole journey on the big front ring just going up and down the rear gears.
Unfortunatly our internet is cut off, and it may be a while before i can post again.
I did look at the coyote everglades, had a triple at the front but neither of the sizes seemed to fit me right.
i had to go for a small frame but now its all set up , cant fault the thing.
Im a stumpy thing hence the smaller frame.
Be safe everyone and i will post again next time im at my mates house .....

Nice one. You'll be doing 50 miles + by this time next year.
