The problem for dear old bbc is they no longer have the full rights so have to waffle to fill time.

It was the same for Tokyo but given the time difference people noticed less, probably because they watched highlights packages that the BBC had time to put together. The worst award for waffling has to go to C4s Paralympics coverage a few years back where they stopped waffling to go to a event "live" which had already taken place.

Good to see Nuguse get a medal - always comes across a decent man and likes to race.

Kerr couldn't have done any more.Still got the silver though.
The Norwegian was concentrating too much on Kerr and ended up with zilch.

I don't think it was so much him finding a gap as Ingerbrigtsen moving from the inside and making a gap.

Perfect riposte to everyone including Kerr and Ingerbrigtsen who seemed to be concentrating solely on each other.
