Ive got a Brooks B17 on my Scott speedster. Found other saddles painfull after 60 miles, can still enjoy sitting on the B17 after 120 miles. Fashion or street cred really dont come into the equation for me.

B17 I have been trying and really wanted to like it, but I obviously need the cut away type saddles I think. The pressure I was feeling from the solid nose area was unbearable for me. Back to a Terry one I had in the cupboard and felt instant relief in my fleshy bits!

I was getting used to my Spesh Phenom saddle, but the recent awful weather has seen me wimp out of riding for about four weeks or so (shame on me!)
I fell out of bed on Sunday, kit on, saddled up and knocked out a 27 mile run. I really struggled to find any comfortable position on the perch. My undercarriage now feels like it's been kicked by an elephant and that was with padded bibs on.
Just gotta break myself in all over again I suppose?

Bike fit is of crucial importance when it comes to saddle comfort.
There are several internet sites that can assist you measuring yourself.and suggest a bike frame size.
Its possible, I suppose, that you have the wrong frame size but I would suggest you get your measurements done first and see if you can adjust seat height and stem height to suit you. The distance between saddle and handle bar should also be checked this can be altered with different stem lengths or the use of an adjustable stem.
Check your bike fit first. Once that is in order then you can turn your attention to saddle choice.
(I'm a Brooks fan)
I wish you comfortable riding.
