was browsing chainsets last night, couldn't find a 26/42 compact but Stronglight do the Oxale Two as a 29/44, 9 speed compatable. Couple that with a 12-26 cassette and you've got a 45 to 99 inch range in the big ring and 30-65 in the inner. these are all nicely spaced for social riding, or at least would be for me. Spa cycles do them but only have the 170mm cranks at present, I need the 175mm.
Anyone know any other makers doing a more useable double or compact?
