A 2015 study suggested that the holes in Swiss cheese may be caused by flecks of hay dust that fall into milk buckets.

So, in a way, those holes in Swiss cheese could be there because of dirty milk. And scientists have theorized that we've been seeing fewer holes in Swiss cheese because the milk is cleaner. Previously, the holes in Swiss cheese were thought to be caused by bacteria —and this theory still exists.

Fred Dibnar used to use wedges of cheese to secure his ladders to the chimneys he climbed. He would eat the smoked cheese on the way back down.

The largest rideable bicycle has a wheel diameter of 3.3 m (10 ft 9.92 in) and was built by Didi Senft from Germany. Gut gemacht!

A bit of cycling science for you: a bicycle can stay upright without a rider as long as it’s moving at 8mph or faster.
