I certainly remember 1 in 14 million originally, but I recall a proposed change of rules worsening the odds to 1 in 60 million. Haven't participated in years so don't know if the change ever happened.

The odds I quoted were based on 49 numbers, turns out it's been 59 for several years.

I apologise. I think this is probably correct. I can't be arsed to do the calculations again to see if it is.

Someone I used to work with didn't buy a lottery ticket but did watch the show, checking the numbers he'd written on a piece of paper. Now, it was very unlikely that his numbers would come up, but even so.........
