But it's true isn't it? You can get chubby women who have pretty faces. The weight seems normal, even attractive. Then you get women who are chubby and the fat affects their face too. That's not so nice and they seem obese.

Sure I read somewhere that going by his BMI, John Terry is only a shade below being classed as obese.
Seems to be more of a trend to go by waistline at the moment.
Just looking at somebody in the street will give me a very non scientific obese / overweight decision without any idea of what they do actually weigh or their bmi. so from that I'd say waistline, but don't think there are any absolutes on it.

But how do you go about telling some one that maybe they need to maybe hold back on that last cake....

You don't tell him, you feed him more cake. Every cake he eats makes you look slimmer.

I found that a wedding ring given to the missus has the calorific content of a hundred weight of cream cakes...

obesity is... when you have to buy that cream off the advert coz your legs chaff!

FFS!!!! if you have to start buying cream it's time to go on a diet and get some exercise!
