Thanks for your prompt response,I'm a thicko I know but I was under the impression that nuts weren't cooked, they were just taken out their shells and hey presto...so what's with the @ 5% veg oil ?

I expect the 5% oil is what's in the nuts themselves - although that seems a bit low to me.
But they are definitely not a low calorie snack...

As for feeling weak on the rides it may be that your diet is low in Carbohydrates and you haven't much glycogen stored in the muscles as a result.

Not that I'm a sports nutritionist.............

Hi check out durianrider on youtube. He recomends high carb high sugar and low fat diet. Iv lost 4kg in two weeks following him
 
This all sounds nuts to me....I know I could not resist^_^. I tend to snack on a mix of nuts, raisins and dried fruit, but I don't buy the premixed stuff, I make up my own portions. I have not had any problem with weight gain
