Really depends how much you sweat which is individual to you. People probably exist who'd do that mileage with nothing. That's very little and a less trained person would require a lot more.
A full English is fab (and my preferred choice where available) for a full day out in the saddle, however, I can understand that it doesn't work for everyone.
yes but the OP is not experienced and that kind of advice could cause a problem.May be the case, but it is what it is. I tend to ride 40+ miles at least 3x a week and at this time of year I can often ride 2 consecutive rides on the same bottle (I don't throw it away after a ride if it has a Zero tablet in there), there are times I get back to the meet point at the end of 40 miles only to crack the bottle open for the 1st time, take a swig then ride home and fridge it for the next ride.

its not always possible to refill on the way, it certainly isnt around here... and the OP asked for advice and you posted your experiences, therefore you gave advice. Your post just wasnt helpful. It wasn't advice! Also it won't cause a problem because if the OP is thirsty he/she will drink (unless he/she is a complete dunce), simple as that. Run out of water? No problem, refill along the way.

its not an 'I can drink less water than you' competition
eh?Does water stop running once you get on your bike?
How is it not possible to refill a bottle? Does water magically stop running when youre cycling?
because unless you want to take it out of a river there isnt always somewhere to refill it. especially around here. How is it not possible to refill a bottle? Does water magically stop running when youre cycling?
some of us dont like knocking on random doors and there are no shops and no to churches either. Your just being pedantic for the sake of it and taking the thread completely off topic. There are no houses? buildings? shops! churches? You must live in a desert to be so far from a national mains water supply
So if you were on the absolute edge of dehydration, the headache and nausea included. You wouldnt ask for water?some of us dont like knocking on random doors and there are no shops and no to churches either. Your just being pedantic for the sake of it and taking the thread completely off topic.
