I am looking for a 5 bike rack/stand to put in our garage against the back wall.

It needs to be able to support a road bike, 3 hybrids and a mountain bike with tyres ranging from 23mm to 55mm.

I've seen the Mottez 5 bike stand but it seems too wide fitting for the hybrid and road bikes.

Also saw a DIY PVC tubing idea from instructables but people say they flex too easily with the pipe you get in the UK ?

Another idea may be bolting 5 Silverline wall stands in a line though it is not clear what dimensions of tyre they accomodate.

Has anyone any more ideas ?

Have a look at this thread from a year or two back.

There is some useful - and still current - info there

Hanging bikes on the wall obviously takes up much less space than floor-standing ones.

If I had access to resources like some scaffolding pipe etc, I'd probably have gone for the 'bike shop style' and it would have been very cheap

Hi Scoosh

I read that thread thanks.

If we had the height then wall hanging would be a good idea.

Unfortunately I have to fit the rack or stand under a waist height long bench that runs along the back wall and alll the bikes handlebars fit under nicely.
