I am thinking of using blackle instead of google as my search engine of choice. It's just like google, only it's black, so you don't waste valuable lumens lighting up your screen.
Steal @ColinJ'sI’ve recycled the recycle bins. But no sure what happens next week when it’s recycling.
We have gone one better, we use binoculars to watch the TVs across the road, with discreet sound transmitters secreted on the window sills.I've been saving more electricity by holding a glass to the wall and listening to my neighbours radio instead of my own.
I had an awkward conversation with an elderly Asian neighbour on the wheelie bin question... His English isn't brilliant and my Urdu is non-existent so we were finding it a bit hard to understand each other. The subject was definitely wheelie bins and I tried explaining what had happened with mine, but we weren't really getting anywhere. I ended up going back into the house and some time later I noticed him walking up and down the back alley looking for something, so I reckon that the phantom bin mover/thief had struck again! The space at the back of his house remained clear for a few days but then a wheelie bin suddenly appeared. It is not a new one so he hasn't just had it replaced by the council.Steal @ColinJ's
This one is the opposite..
My theory is that there are new people working on the bin wagons and they have not been putting the wheelie bins back where residents expect them to be. We wander about looking for them and eventually track them down, or grab someone else's if that has been left unclaimed for days!
